Property Expert talks about Choosing the Right Estate Agent
On average, in the last two years, only just over 1 in 2 UK homes that came onto the market for sale did the homeowner end up selling and moving (53% to be exact).
Of the 53% of homes that did sell (and the homeowners moved), 15 out 16 of those sold homes sold with the original first agent marketing the home (93.1% – again to be exact)
That means only 1 in 16 UK homes sold in 2023/4 sold after switching to a second agent.
This highlights the importance of choosing the right estate agent from Day 1.
